1. Information InTune handles

Your account information includes your name, email address and information needed to sign in. Your profile may include your age range, ADHD status, perimenopause or menopause stage, cycle information, goals and symptoms.

Daily check-ins may include sleep, energy, focus, brain fog, stress, mood, anxiety, support, bleeding, physical symptoms, daily factors and notes. You may also record medication, HRT, supplements, treatment dates and whether a scheduled treatment was taken.

Vent It Out stores the words you type, and any voice recording you choose to save, when you save them. Decision Reset can store the situation, facts, worries, what you can control, your next step and what happened afterwards. InTune may also store toolkit items, doctor reports, and insights or patterns generated from information you entered.

“I can’t start something” stores the task you write, the reason you pick, the suggested first step and how it went. The hold list stores what you are thinking of buying or agreeing to, an optional amount or cost, and whether you still wanted it after a day. The “Pause before you react” tool does not save what you write. Check-ins can also include a rating of how well your ADHD medication seemed to work, and optional symptoms such as sexual, vaginal or bladder symptoms, and whether you reacted more than you meant to. You can tag your own strategies with what they help with. InTune is for people aged 18 and over.

Some of this information may be health-related or sensitive personal information. You choose what to record, but the app needs the information you submit in order to provide the features connected to it.

2. How InTune uses information

InTune uses information to operate your account; save what you choose to record; provide check-ins; compare recorded information over time; generate personal insights, evidence and confidence wording; offer practical everyday guidance; create reports you request; help you prepare for healthcare appointments; manage Premium access, trial eligibility and subscriptions; send the reminder before your free trial ends; send the optional email reminders you switch on (a daily check-in reminder, a weekly review and Decision Reset follow-ups), which go only to accounts in a free trial or with an active subscription; let the app owner know by email when a new account is created, including the email address and the time; provide customer support; and maintain and operate the service.

InTune does not use recorded patterns to diagnose you or determine the medical cause of a symptom. A pattern shows a possible relationship in the information you entered. It is not proof that one thing caused another. If there is not enough evidence, InTune should say so.

Check-in notes of eight or more characters may be classified into fixed themes, such as poor sleep, stress or work pressure, using deterministic rules inside the application. This classification does not use an LLM or external AI service. The stored themes can support comparisons inside InTune. Vent It Out entries are not included in this theme-classification step and do not receive an automatic AI response, analysis or advice.

3. Base44 and platform services

InTune is built and hosted on Base44. Base44 and the service providers it uses process information needed to operate features such as accounts, saved records, email, private media and service monitoring. InTune cannot identify from its app code which underlying provider handles every individual operation.

InTune does not use an LLM or external AI service for check-in note classification or pattern analysis. Talk It Out does not transcribe your recording.

You can read Base44’s current Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and Subprocessor List.

4. Stripe, the free trial and subscriptions

InTune offers a seven-day free trial with full access. It starts when you complete onboarding and does not require a payment card. InTune records the trial start and end dates in a trial record that only InTune’s servers can change, to work out when the trial ends. Nothing is charged automatically when it ends. InTune uses the email address on your account to send one reminder about two days before the trial ends.

Stripe handles Checkout, payment-method collection and subscription payment processing if you choose to subscribe at US$9/month or US$90/year. Payment is taken when you subscribe. Monthly subscriptions renew at US$9/month until cancelled. Annual subscriptions renew at US$90/year until cancelled.

InTune receives and stores subscription information needed to manage trial eligibility, billing status and access. This can include Stripe customer, Checkout and subscription identifiers; subscription status; trial start and end dates; renewal or current-period information; payment-status changes; and whether cancellation is scheduled for the end of a period. InTune also receives Stripe events such as successful or failed payments so it can update access and show when payment needs attention.

InTune’s records do not contain your full payment-card number. Payment details are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices.

5. Talk It Out voice recordings

Microphone permission is requested by your browser only when you press “Press to record.” Audio is recorded in the browser until you stop, and you can listen back before you decide what to do with it. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose “Save it for later.”

When you save, the app uploads the recording to Base44 private file storage and saves a reference to that file, the length of the recording and its format with your Vent It Out entry. InTune also keeps a record, on its servers, of which account uploaded each recording, so a playback link is only created for the account that uploaded it. When you play a recording, the server creates a signed link that expires after five minutes. The recording is not transcribed, and it is not used for pattern analysis or to generate a response or advice.

Deleting a saved Vent It Out entry removes that entry, including its file reference, from InTune’s active records. The app does not currently send a request to delete the uploaded audio file itself, and Base44’s documentation does not give this app a confirmed retention period for it. InTune therefore cannot promise that deleting an entry or your account immediately deletes the recording or every backup copy.

6. Analytics and service activity

InTune does not currently send custom analytics events and does not attach check-in, Vent It Out or other health fields to custom analytics events. The previous optional analytics setting did not control an implemented custom analytics feature and has therefore been removed.

Base44’s current SDK documentation says its analytics module automatically records app initialization, periodic activity signals and session duration. Base44 may also create anonymized or aggregated metadata under its DPA. These platform-level activities help operate and measure the service and are not controlled by an InTune privacy switch.

7. Storage, retention and processing

Account and app records are stored and processed through Base44 and its service providers. Their processing locations and safeguards are described in their current privacy and data-processing documents; InTune does not promise a particular storage country.

InTune has not set a single retention period for every category of information. Active records generally remain while your account exists unless you delete a supported entry or your account. Backups and information held by Base44, Stripe or other providers may remain for periods set by those providers or required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing or operational reasons. InTune does not promise a specific backup-deletion interval.

8. When information is shared

Information is processed through Base44 and its relevant platform subprocessors to operate InTune. Base44-branded services are operated by Wix.com Ltd. Subscription information is shared with Stripe for billing. Audio is stored with Base44’s private-file service when you save a recording. Check-in notes are not shared with an external AI service for theme classification.

Information may also be disclosed where required by a valid legal or regulatory request, or where necessary to establish or protect legal rights. A doctor report is shared outside InTune only when you choose to download, send or show it to someone.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

You can review and correct profile and saved information inside the app, download a JSON export from Account & Settings, delete individual Vent It Out and other supported records, and request account deletion. The export includes your profile, check-ins, Vent It Out entries (the text and recording details, but not the voice recordings themselves), Decision Resets, treatments, reports, toolkit items, “I can’t start something” attempts, hold-list items, reminder settings and the calculated patterns available to your account.

Additional rights may apply depending on where you live, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy. These rights are not identical everywhere and may be subject to lawful exceptions. To make a privacy request, contact daniellehodson1@outlook.co.nz.

10. Account deletion

Non-admin users can request deletion from Account & Settings. The app shows a confirmation before continuing. App owner and admin deletion is blocked in the app to prevent accidental removal and must be handled through Base44 support.

For a confirmed non-admin deletion, InTune cancels active, trialling or past-due Stripe subscriptions, deletes the user’s InTune records from its custom data tables, and deletes the Base44 user account. This includes check-ins, Decision Resets, reports, saved Vent entries, toolkit items, treatments, profile information, saved insights, notification preferences, cycle records, tasks you wanted to start, hold-list items, subscription and trial records, voice-recording ownership records and consent records.

Deletion is intended to be permanent in the active app. It may not immediately remove information from automatic backups, Stripe billing records, uploaded voice recordings, or information a provider must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or billing reasons. Base44 states that its automatic backups are deleted on set intervals, but does not publish the interval in the current DPA exhibit.
